About Amagi Metals

Amagi Metals has been in business since 2010. Anthem Vault, another precious metals dealer, acquired Amagi Metals in 2015.
When you visit Amagi Metals' website, you can learn more about the company and their values. They have three office locations in the United States: Austin Texas, Las Vegas, Nevada, and Bartlesville, Oklahoma.
Amagi Metals believes that each individual should invest in precious metals as a way to hedge against inflation, political concerns, or other instances of economic uncertainty. Some of the key values that the company has implemented to allow them to help others achieve this goal include: quality, service, security, privacy, and simplicity.
Precious Metals
Gold
At the time of this review, all of the gold pieces listed on Amagi Metals' website were showing up as out of stock. Here is a sampling of what they have to offer, should these products come back in stock.
Silver
As with the gold coins and bars, all of the silver coins and bars were also showing up as out of stock when this review was written. Below, you'll see some of the options that may be available if Amagi Metals updates its inventory.
Platinum
If Amagi Metals restocks its inventory, you will also have the option to add some platinum to your portfolio. The website lists the 1 oz Canadian Platinum Maple Leaf Coin, though it was also out of stock as of the date this review was compiled.
Base Metals
One way Amagi Metals worked to set themselves apart from other precious metals dealers is by offering base metals. Copper bars and rounds are shown on the website, but they are also currently showing up as out of stock. In the event of a restock, here are a few of the items you may be able to choose from:
Are There Any Red Flags for Amagi Metals?

Looking at reviews from past customers can be very useful when determining whether there are any red flags from a given company. As you can see from the information compiled below, there are not many online reviews available for Amagi Metals.
We did not find any customer reviews from the Better Business Bureau, Business Consumer Alliance, TrustLink or Trustpilot. Additionally, Amagi Metals is not a BBB accredited business.
The only site we checked where we found reviews was Google. Here, there were only 9 reviews, and the reviews were not overwhelmingly positive, with just a 2.9/5 average.
While the experiences of others don't always completely predict the experience and treatment you'll receive if you decide to work with a company, they can help you get a feel for what to expect.
Since there are not a lot of reviews period for Amagi Metals, you'll need to decide if you are willing to make a gamble and give them your business. We'll share more information in the next section that could help you in making this decision.
Is Amagi Metals a Scam?

You're here to find out whether Amagi Metals is a scam, or whether they are legitimate company you could see yourself doing business with. So, what's our verdict? We believe that Amagi Metals is a legitimate company. They do not appear to be a scam. The company has been in business for over 10 years, which wouldn't be very likely if they weren't legitimate.
So, now we've determined that Amagi Metals is a legitimate company. Does that mean you should call them up now and place an order? Well, that's up to you, but we wouldn't recommend doing so.
With all the other precious metals companies out there with hundreds or thousands of reviews, it is a little concerning that there are so few reviews available for Amagi Metals. And, of the 9 Google reviews for the company, they only ended up with a 2.9/5 average, which is not the best.
Based on the information on their website, it does not appear that Amagi Metals offers many of the services that other precious metals investment companies offer. For example, their website does not mention anything about setting up a Gold IRA or selling your precious metals to Amagi Metals. Setting up a Gold IRA is a great step to take when you're preparing for retirement, and you may want to find a company that will buy your precious metals back from you at some point when you're ready to sell. If either of these are things that you are interested in, Amagi Metal may not be the right choice for you.
As of the time we wrote this article, nearly all of the bars and coins listed on Amagi Metal's website were showing up as out of stock. We don't know if this was just a fluke at the time we checked, or if they consistently have trouble keeping up with their inventory. It also doesn't look like the website has been updated very recently. These details may be a reason to consider choosing another company to work with.
